Ferrari Top Design School Challenge


Taking a look at the Ferrari Top Design School Challenge

The Ferrari World Design Contest was held in Maranello, on June 13. It involved a total of 50 design schools from all over the world. The task was to design a Ferrari that could be developed in the year 2040. This designs for the cars had to be a pure hyper-car, using technologies and materials of the latest generation. Once schools around the world have perfected there design, they will be judged basted on the greatest use of 3D Autodesk, or how has the best interior and exterior design.

The jury, the ones who judge the designs, are designers, collectors, engineers and drivers. Some of the judges are Nicola Boari, Franco Cimatti, Aldo Colonnetti, Rodolfo Gaffino Rossi, Jay Kay, Flavio Manzoni, Nick Mason, Andrea Militello, Paolo Pininfarina and Sebastian Vettel. 

Out of the fifty design schools the he Four finalist were Hochschule Pforzheim in germany, Hongik University in Seoul, Korea, the ISD-Rubika in Vaneciennes, France, and the College for Creative Studies in Detroit, United stated. The overall winner in the Top Design School Challenge is the Manifesto. This Manifesto concept car was designed by six students from ISD-Rubika at Valenciennes in France.


This Manifesto Concept is the “Gran Premio Assoluto” Ferrari Top Design School Challenge 2015's winner.

De Estera Concep
The "Premio Speciale", decided by an online ballot, went to this design. This was done by three students from Hongik University in Seoul, Korea.
FL Interior Concept
Russian student, Roman Egorov, from the Hochschule Pforzheim in Germany was the only design that focused solely on the cabin.
